Ship in a Bottle

The entire universe as we know it fits into a a bottle, moreover, a ship in a bottle that we can possess here on earth. There are 2 such ships in a bottle floating around this planet. One, that the lead character in the movie, me, finds and uses to discover the mysteries of the bottle, and the other belonging to a Castle Owner some guy name Von Offelhoffen (played by the American Pie Dad actor).

When you open the cork to the ship in the bottle, the whole earth sucks in on itself magically, and you end up on a ship that can tranceport you anwhere on the planet magically. i'm trying to remember how it works, but it is something that travels alongside of time and somehow uses sound waves to 'slow the ship down' when you remerge w/ the real world. the effect looked really cool when the ship 'arrived' at the new location and the world unzipped back into 'reality' and recorked the ship in the bottle.

The big purpose that i was to find the ship was that the other ship bottle owner Von Offelhoffen had a really annoying voice, and for some reason his 'castle' was completely overtaken with this strange ice. no one knew where the ice came from but it was spreading from his castle all over the world. something had to be done, and somehow me and a merry gang of misfits (all young kids, i was young too) managed to distract von offelhoffen and get him out of his castle. This caused the unininted consequence of all the ice slowly dissapearing in a ghastly and cool-effect sort of fashion.

the only other thing i can remember is that i was kind of like harry potter in the sense i was a young boy, and there was a childhood love interest sort of like hermoine's character in the books. i don't think anyone ever kissed. that's all i remember!
